How to Deal With Stress

Everybody deals with STRESS  and nobody can escape it no matter what status do you have in life.  Whether that is family, health, work, financial or heart-related stress, you need to find a way to get over it.  So, how do we do that?  I have here some tips that actually worked for me .  It may not work for the others but it’s worth a try anyway 🙂

  1.  Have a COFFEE BREAK (alone or with a buddy)

If you cannot afford to go to a coffee shop, a cup of coffee with a special someone or your best buddy at home will be perfect to have a nice chitchat or share your troubles.

2.  Have a GOOD SLEEP or power nap especially if you have a headache.

Most of the time, the cause of stress is lack of sleep so you really need the time to take a nap or have a long sleep.  I won’t recommend taking sleeping pills;  instead, you may drink a glass of milk.  Reading or playing games in your mobile phone may help you sleep.

3   Have a STAYCATION with friends or your family even for a day to help you unwind.  Traveling to a far place can cause you even more stress, so choose a nearby hotel.

4.  DESTRESSING SESSION in a Spa or Wellness Center near you

A soothing massage, facial, body scrub and foot spa can be helpful to achieve relaxation.  One of the spas I recommend is Z Spa, a 420 square meter spa located in 2/F Ace Hotel, Kapitolyo, Pasig City.  All the furnishings and equipments are NEW and of high standard and the beauty products used are all naturals and were ordered abroad.  I have found another spa near our area but I will tell more about the details in my separate post.

5.  CUT DOWN ON YOUR EXPENSES especially if you are dealing with financial problem.  (I am only going to choose 2 credit cards and will deactivate them once I have settled all my bills).

6.  HAVE A HEALTHY DIET and do not starve yourself.

If you need to destress, you need to have a healthy and strong body and sharp mind.  Refrain from eating too much or too less because your body needs food to have enough strength and energy for your daily activity.

Whether you like it or not, we can encounter STRESS, so it’s already an advantage if you know how to deal with it 🙂
